Hi, I’m Nikki, or Nyx.
Ever since my parents moved to India when I was five, then raised me in Thailand, I’ve been on the road. In my early 20’s, I worked as a radio host, lived in East Africa for three years volunteering full-time, and then later became a Travel TV Host and Inflight magazine editor and writer back in Southeast Asia.
Life has allowed me to meet and interact with many cultures (and even tribes) across the globe, to move between continents, to paint, write, and live it with all the senses. In 2008, I visited Europe, and eventually lived between Germany and Italy with my boys. Now, my journey is motherhood, and every day is a new road to discover.
This blog is a way to continue sharing life’s gifts, as I write notes on travel, mommy stuff, inspiring people and places. I love to paint, so you’ll be seeing lots of art here, too.
