It’s been awhile since I traveled without my boys, and work in the last year has meant writing from home, or close to it, as I’ve been reluctant to leave my baby.
However, now that he is well into his second year and getting along just fine, I’ve accepted the invitation to go to Mindanao for a few days and revisit the T’boli tribe. I love these people! Their culture and dress fascinate me, how they care for nature and try to preserve it. It’s the part of the Philippines I am constantly drawn to: The one still with rituals of generations, woven dreams, and unheard stories. I hope to write some for you, and will share pictures from the trip.
